S.O. Shine EP

After a short hiatus of releasing new music, acclaimed artist S.O. is back with a new EP called Shine. Coupled with a new music video for the lead single “Boast,” Shine is an appetizer for a S.O.’s fans who have been waiting for a new project.

“While I only released three singles in 2018, I’ve been incredibly busy creating new music. Shine is just a taste of what fans can expect from me in September.”

Shine features five songs, four of which are produced by OnBeat-Music (Reflection Music Group, producer of “Where Would I Be” and multiples songs for Derek Minor, Deraj, nobigdyl., and more) and one by long-time friend and collaborator GP.

“In April, I called OB and told him that even though my album was being mixed and mastered, I did not want to stop creating music. We met for two days and created four songs. Rather than sit on the records and wait for a perfect rollout, I thought it best to release them so that those who want it the most (the fans) can have it at their earliest convenience. I spent all 2018 working on new music. There were many times where I’ve sat on unreleased music. However, I’m determined moving forward that if I have a song done, one way or another, I will release it.”

While Shine is only five songs long, S.O. fans will get exactly what they expect from him: a vast array of emotions, meaningful depth, catchy melodies, and of course, impactful bars designed to challenge his listeners heart and point them to Jesus.
