Lamp Mode Recordings is celebrating the transition of God’s Servant off of the label into a full-time pastoral role at Risen Christ Fellowship.
Much more than an emcee, Brian Davis also served as the administrator for Lamp Mode working with other artists on the label.
“Brian is not only a brother and a friend, but a herald of the gospel,” Lamp Mode president Jason “Json” Watson said. “We had great chemistry and great debates. What he brought to the team behind the scenes and as an artist will be missed. This is not the loss of a brother but a send-off. His heartbeat to shepherd the people of God carries a far greater weight in our eyes, and we are excited to see and support what God does in and through him as well as Risen Christ Fellowship.”
A church plant established in Philadelphia in 2015, Risen Christ Fellowship is pastored by Davis, Shai Linne and Frank Lettko.
“I absolutely love my job now as a pastor,” Davis said of his position with the church. “I feel like I have the best job in the world.”
The official Lamp Mode announcement comes on the heels of God’s Servant independently released EP All Glory Goes. The five-song project is available where online music is sold.
